MELIA Property was born from a love of property, a passion for people, and a belief that the industry could be done better.

My journey began like many others, buying my first investment property on minimum wage in a small regional town. That one decision sparked a deep curiosity about how property really works: the numbers, the strategy and the potential to create lasting wealth and freedom. I went on to work in property development, sourcing and analysing sites for small-to-medium developers across Brisbane and Sydney. It taught me the mechanics of due diligence, feasibility, and negotiation... the foundation of every great property purchase.

But along the way, I also saw things in the real estate industry that didn’t sit right. Courses charging outrageous fees for basic information, so-called mentors preying on people’s dreams and buyers’ agents pushing risky “hotspot” properties or taking commissions from developers behind the scenes. Too often, people’s confidence was exploited instead of supported. I knew there had to be a better way.

That’s when I created MELIA Property, a buyers agency built on honesty, education and integrity. My mission is to help people purchase with confidence, whether that’s a high-performing investment, a lifestyle retreat, or a purpose-built equine property. Every purchase is backed by research, data, and strategy, never sales tactics or hype.

As both a property professional and lifelong horse lover, I also bring a unique understanding to the lifestyle and equestrian space. I get what it takes to make a property work for both it's horses and humans because I’ve lived it. From growing up on small acreage in Upper Brookfield to now living regionally in Warwick, I know the realities of rural life - the open space, the animals, the neighbours in the distance, the difficulties as well as the peace that comes with it.
